1 后记:2020年10月31日
近日,Ubuntu系统dist-upgrade后,显卡驱动又出现问题,无法正常进入系统。通过高级选择菜单,可以进入系统,但是显卡驱动不正常,比如,Webots仿真计算速度不正常。下载AMDGPU安装包,卸载显卡驱动后,重新安装显卡驱动,系统恢复正常。
安装时使用:
./amdgpu-install -y
而不是:
./amdgpu-pro-install -y
2 引言
方便起见,我的工作电脑一般都会安装双操作系统。七月份入手T14后,在Windows 10的基础上,加装了Ubuntu 18.04。本文粗浅总结T14锐龙版的Ubuntu 18.04的显卡驱动安装问题。
AMD官方和Lenovo官方至今仍然没有提供T14的显卡驱动,所以T14的Ubuntu系统中,显卡驱动使用的是民间开源的AMDGPU进行安装。
3 驱动更新
现在已经记不清楚7月份安装Ubuntu时,是如何把显卡驱动安装好的。但是最近,不知道什么原因,显卡驱动出现了问题,我重新下载了AMDGPU-pro的deb安装包,使用该安装包,用:
./amdgpu-pro-install -y
进行安装后,显卡不能正常工作。改用:
./amdgpu-install -y
进行安装后,显卡可以正常工作,但是硬件加速功能不正常。
今天,在进行Webots仿真时,发现了显卡硬件加速不正常的问题,也就是Webots仿真时速度变得很慢。为解决该问题,对显卡驱动进行了重新安装(或者说是更新/升级显卡驱动),显卡硬件加速功能恢复了正常。具体方法如下:
- 添加PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:oibaf/graphics-drivers
- 更新apt:
sudo apt update
- 升级:
sudo apt upgrade
升级完后,硬件加速功能得到恢复,Webots仿真速度恢复正常。
新安装驱动应该也可以参考这个方法。
4 使能DRI3
此外,我还参照资料使能了DRI3。但是,我暂时不清楚DRI3的具体公用。使能DRI3的方法如下:
- 在 /etc/X11/xorg.conf文件中增加以下几行:
Section "Device" Identifier "AMDGPU" Driver "amdgpu" Option "AccelMethod" "glamor" Option "DRI" "3" EndSection
- 保存文件后,重启电脑。
